ENIGMA ENIGMA explores the relationship between the body and the process of thinking. The first painting, titled “Processo de pensamento primário” (primary process of thinking), evokes a Freudian notion of primary thought, where sensory impressions, emerging fragments of a primitive language, and mixed forms and colors converge in a raw, rhythmic, pre-verbal structure.

Created on the floor, the work allowed the body and its movements to both shape and participate in the painting.

MEMÓRIA
 The MEMÓRIA interrogates the concept of memory.

Each piece features layered, provisional paintings reminiscent of dreams and visions, evoking themes of childhood and the past. In the final stage, the surface pigment is removed through forceful gestures, revealing the underlying layers— memories that persist despite attempts at erasure.

 The works titled “Nāḍī” (veins in Sanskrit) also emerged from observing the body, from the model’s protruding veins, which evoke the image of circulation.

They reveal themselves as marks, traces, almost bruises on a thin skin that separates the inside from the outside, showing the transparency of this relationship and what lies beneath.

A body that, at the same time, hides and cannot hide—because the marks appear precisely where the light passes through the fabric, revealing its interior even more. The skin represents the ultimate boundary—and at the same time the point of communication. A confluence.

The body and the background (interior–exterior) attract one another until they merge, revealing themselves as part of the same nature.

CORPO CORPO (Body) is a research project exploring representations of the female body through the interaction between tint and textile. The study moves from the body’s overall form to a close examination of skin and veins, assuming that a single fragment can reveal the whole.

The process consists of applying color and then removing it, dissolving the initial form through pigment dilution. The final works emerge from the reaction between tint, fabric, and solvent, leaving indelible traces absorbed into the textile

 The Mnesis series comprises works produced through a process of layering and paint removal, incorporating randomly selected colors at weekly intervals. Each piece carries a trace of its predecessor, functioning both as a memory of the previous work and as an expression of its own distinct interiority.

It consists of 12 works.
